The FBA PRO TOUR is a points chase across the entire year of FBA Pro Tour Events. Competitors earn points at each event based on a multitude of factors. The most important factor being how well they did at the event. Competitors gain points from each competition no matter how well or poorly they place. The only points that count toward the PRO TOUR however are those earned in the OPEN division and PRO division of a competition. Amateur, Advanced, and Tandem points will not be calculated into the PRO TOUR standings for any competitor.
The FBA strives to be proactive and forward thinking. In an effort to streamline the Pro Tour, we will introduce a new Level Breakdown for the 2024 tour. This new system is a direct responce to both our competitors and event organizers alike. The new stucture will be similar to Golf's PGA Tour. The FBA Pro Tour will have many events, but only a few "Majors". Most Pro Tour events will follow a level 1 or level 5 points structure. The Majors however will be worth significantly more at a level 25.
The FBA PRO TOUR is funded entirely by the events contributing to the point accumulation. The Pro Tour fees will be USD$1000 for Majors, USD$500 for Nationals, and USD$100 for all other events. Top competitors will be rewarded with trophies and FBA Premium Memberships. As the Pro Tour continues to grow and add events, we plan to secure an overall tour sponsor, which will help increase the rewards for the top competitors.

Calculating the PRO TOUR points:
The Tour weights Major events like LEGENDS and QUEST over other events like BEST in the WEST and PINNACLE.
There are four type of points to be awarded:
- Final Points
- Finalist Bonus Points
- Qualifying Points
- Show Up Points
FINALS POINTS
Points are earned for overall placement in the finals. Each place earns points on a sliding scale:

FINALIST BONUS
Competitors who make the finals get a "FINALIST BONUS" instead of qualifying points.

QUALIFYING POINTS
ONLY COMPETITORS THAT DO NOT MAKE THE FINALS RECEIVE QUALIFYING POINTS
Points are earned for overall placement in the qualifiers of an event. The top scoring competitor to not make the finals will receive 80% of the Finalist Bonus for that event level. Each competitor under that will receive (2 points X the event level) less than the competitor in front of them. For a major that would be (2*25) or 50 points.
Competitors can earn significant points for qualifying well.
